Knowing I was innocent, I rejected both plea deals the prosecution offered me, as I could not, in good-faith, plead guilty to a lesser charge just to avoid a trial, victim restitution, and attorney fees. Rejecting both plea deals offered to me by the prosecution resulted in a jury trial, where I was found not guilty."
